FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Discover the World of Amateur Radio with the Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club

The Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club (BARC) will host an in person, “Learn about Amateur Radio” at 1 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at their facility located at 51 South East Street, Bellbrook, OH 45305.  Please enter from the top of the steps at the covered walkway on the south side of the old school building. We are on the lower level. For disability access, let us know at the below email and we will arrange to meet you at the parking lot door.

This free event is open to anyone who is interested in learning about the exciting hobby of Amateur radio. It is designed specifically for people who are planning to study for the FCC Technician test. We will have experienced BARC club members ready to explain our radio and other equipment setup, allow you “get on the air” by talking on club radios, and describe the proper way to use them.  We will have a question and answer session about all things Amateur radio, but tailored to the preparation and study for the FCC Technician test.

You can access our web page at: https://bellbrookarc.org/wp/. We have included study guides and additional information for the Technician test at: https://bellbrookarc.org/wp/technician-license-exam-support/

If you have any questions about this event or you plan to attend, please send an email to Paul Sharp at education@bellbrookarc.org.

Come discover how amateur radio connects people, technology, and innovation—see you there!
