CRAMER, Ronald Eugene, age 75, passed away March 11, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born on August 15, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to Donald and Delight (Brooks) Cramer. Ron worked for the Siebenthaler Company for most of his adult life, in many capacities. Late in life, he discovered amateur radio and became an enthusiastic member of Dayton Amateur Radio Association and volunteer at Dayton Hamvention. Jim was an army veteran, but he would be well described by the Marine Corps motto “Semper Fidelis” (Always Faithful). Those who knew Jim saw a man who was dedicated to family, church, and community. Gene Fischer (KX8GCS) – Silent Key Our friend and fellow XWARN member, Sheriff Gene Fischer, KX8GCS passed away Tuesday evening, November 16. He was attending the Buckeye State Sheriffs Association convention in Sandusky and suffered a medical emergency which resulted in his sudden death. After serving with the Xenia police from 1983-2003, Gene served as Greene County Sheriff since 2003 and was well respected in the law enforcement community.
