President’s Message Sept 2025
Fall is nipping at our heals. The temperatures grow cooler and pump-kin spice flavored everything is here. September brings two big public service opportunities with the Young’s Bike Tour and the Air Force Marathon. I hope to have the participation from as many club mem-bers as possible. It is also time to start thinking about the upcoming XWARN election. It is a couple months away, but preparations must begin now. We will need an election chair picked at the September meeting. Please con-sider this important role.Elizabeth Klinc, KE8FMJ AuxC
President’s Message
Happy August XWARN! Hope your summer is going well and you got many chances to operate your radios. Ending the summertime, next month is a large event for our area – the Air Force Marathon. I hope everyone can volunteer. Sign ups usu-ally close August 31st. If you have any questions, contact Bob N8ADO. Is there any interest in starting a club POTA group? This is something that I’ve been meaning to try myself and I thought I would gage eve-ryone’s interest.Try and stay cool. Remember, your radios can overheat, as well. Elizabeth Klinc, KE8FMJ AuxC
