3rd Annual Ohio River Road Runners Club Full & Half Marathon
On Sunday April 3rd is the Annual Ohio River Road Runners Club Full and Half Marathons. Both events begin at 8:00am at the NEW Xenia YMCA at 336 South Progress Dr in Xenia. The event winds around Xenia and then follows the bike path to Spring Valley and then comes back.We will be needing 15-20 volunteers. Also bicycle-mobile operators would be helpful. Checkin/Net Control will be at the XWARN Communications Trailer, which will be setup at the YMCA starting at 6:30am.A directed Net will be held on the 147.165 repeater(123Hz PL).Please come out and help out with this first large event…

2021 ARRL Field Day is June 26-27
Objective To contact as many stations as possible on the 160, 80, 40, 20,15 and 10 Meter HF bands, as well as all bands 50 MHz and above, and to learn to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions. Field Day is open to all amateurs in the areas covered by the ARRL/RAC Field Organizations and countries within IARU Region 2. DX stations residing in other regions may be contacted for credit, but are not eligible to submit entries. 2021 Air Force Marathon Expected to Take Place
Bob Baker (N8ADO) informed everyone at the last XWARN meeting that as of the meeting, the annual Air Force Mara-thon is fully expected to take place! The committee meetings have begun, and registration is estimated to begin May 1st. Volunteers are always welcome, and the more minds the better! New ideas are being tossed around this year, so if you want to contribute, feel free to come! We are looking forward to this year’s marathon after the absence of one last year, so let’s make this one better than ever!
