April 2020 Meeting will be on the Air

Our monthly scheduled meeting is Monday, April 13th. Obviously we can’t meet in person due to COVD-19 and regulations. I would like to meet on our repeater, 147.165 (+123), for an informal net and get together to check in on each other and general conversation. Janese, KD8DGB, has graciously accepted to be our net control for the evening. We will start at 7:30pm, our normal time. I really hope to hear you, and even many guests, on the air. Xenia Marathon

Postponed due to COVID-19 Corona virus On Sunday April 5th  is the  Annual Ohio River Road Runners Club Full and Half Marathons.  Both events begin at 8:00am  at the NEW Xenia YMCA at 336 South Progress Dr in Xenia. The event winds around Xenia and then follows the bike path to Spring Valley and then comes back.  We will be needing 15-20 volunteers. Also bicycle-mobile operators would be helpful. The next BARC Tech Night is Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 7:00 pm at the BARC Clubhouse. I will be presenting an “Introduction to DMR”. BROOKVILLE 2020 CERT Training Program A new class is beginning Tuesday, March 24th . Classes will be held every Tuesday through May 19th and will conclude with a mock disaster on Saturday, May 30th.
