Happy October, XWARN!
The summer has passed, and we are wrapping up another year at XWARN. Only two small cross-country events left for the year. If in-terested, see Bob, N8ADO, or get more information (and other district events!) at https://ohd3ares.org/.
Our yearly election and annual meeting is next month. Last one be-fore the new fiscal year. Dues will come for the new year. If you can’t pay it in person, consider using our fabulous Paypal system on our website. Come on our and vote for your officers. There is also still time to run, if interested, by coming to the October meeting and de-claring your intention.
As the daylight gets shorter and the days and nights cooler the radio shack becomes more inviting. So, get on, monitor the bands, and talk with your friends. Or if you would like to try your hand at a contest, there are several coming up. Don’t be afraid to tune in, listen a little, get the feeling and pick up the microphone and push that PTT button.
