Hello XWARN!Time is moving so quickly. I cannot believe that we are already in the middle of March. Hamvention will be here before we know it. T-Shirts have been decided. Be thinking about when you can volunteer to sell them. Remember all members are required two hours. In just a few short weeks, we have our first large public service event with the Xenia Marathon. Xenia Marathon

Sunday, April 7Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 KStarting gun at 8:00, Official end at 6 hours after the start. For course maps, etc. see the website RUNXENIA.COM Last time we had 21 volunteers, which worked out OK as some of us wereable to cover multiple locations. More eyes and more communications arealways good. In addition to spotters at designated places, we can useseveral bicycle mobiles to patrol the course and to track the tail ends. Spring Amateur Radio Classes

For those interested in obtaining an FCC amateur radio license, the Greene County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (GCARES) is offering an Amateur Radio license class starting Sunday, February 18, 2024. The class will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. each Sunday through April 21st.  A test for all classes of licenses will be shortly after these classes conclude.
