NWS March 14 Severe Storms and Tornadoes

NWS Atrticle Link During the afternoon of March 14, a supercell thunderstorm developed over southern Indiana, producing a tornado as it crossed the Ohio River three times heading into Kentucky. During the evening of March 14, multiple supercell thunderstorms developed over Indiana, producing numerous strong tornadoes across western and central Ohio. The NWS Wilmington Ohio confirmed a total of seven tornadoes from this event. Within the NWS Wilmington Ohio forecast area, the tornado tracks combined to a total of 145 miles. Tornadoes also occurred in portions of the NWS Louisville, NWS Indianapolis, NWS Northern Indiana, and NWS Cleveland forecast areas….
